A poem about trees
You don't always see me
but I see you
I am the sage above and beneath you.
You may enjoy my shade,
The purity I bring to the air,
I am a being of peace beyond compare.
I, too, communicate with all those around,
But our different dimension of time
Make it hard hearing the sound.
Some chose me for nesting,
To grow a nice family
Others for resting,
And soak in my energy.
This is how,
The enlightened one came about,
In my presence, he meditated
Saw through is moments of doubt.
So, now, can you see?
I am the ancient in the picture,
I am the bountiful Tree.
